Stansbury Primary School (SPS)

We are located with an amazing view of the sea and gulf, we are close to the Golf Course and the Pines reserve and the town facilities are within easy walking distance.

SPS is a small school with stable enrolments of between 25-30 students, allowing us to provide two classes which means students receive large amounts of individual teacher tuition suited to their needs.

The small staff to student ratios have ensured our students are achieving above the expected achievement levels. Support for student learning is also provided by trained support staff, with short term intervention programmes such as Quicksmart Maths, Mini Lit and Macqlit which are implemented to address any gaps in student learnings.

A Pastoral Support Worker provides support to staff, students and families across the school. We have School Captains and Peer Mediators to support students in the yard.

The classrooms were redesigned in 2018 into contemporary learning spaces that provide opportunities for students to learn in a variety of ways and in different spaces.
